Doc Dojo is a macOS document and writing app developed by Dojoism. Doc Dojo stores documents locally on your Mac, does not collect document content, does not use tracking or advertising identifiers, and only uses App Store and StoreKit for purchases.
Overview
Doc Dojo is designed to work without a Dojoism account, without advertising, without tracking SDKs, without advertising identifiers, and without a Dojoism server for your document library. Your documents are stored locally on your Mac.
Information We Collect
Dojoism does not collect your document contents through a Dojoism account or server. Doc Dojo does not operate a Dojoism analytics system, advertising system, profiling system, or server database for your writing.
Documents and Library Data
You may create or import documents, folders, tags, stars, templates, version history, writing goals, preview settings, theme settings, and purchase access state. This information is used locally to provide the app's document library, editing, search, organization, preview, export, versioning, and focus mode features.
Local Storage
Doc Dojo stores documents, folders, tags, templates, versions, writing goals, and preferences locally on your Mac. The app uses local system storage such as UserDefaults and app sandbox storage. Deleting documents, versions, templates, or the app affects the local copies on that Mac.
Imports and Exports
Doc Dojo can import user-selected files and export documents in supported formats, including original document formats and PDF when available. Import and export use macOS file pickers and sandbox permissions. After export, the destination you choose controls the exported copy.
Purchases
Doc Dojo may offer paid features through Apple's App Store and StoreKit. Purchases, restores, entitlement checks, and payment processing are handled by Apple. Dojoism does not receive your full payment card information from Apple.
Third-Party Services
Doc Dojo does not use third-party advertising SDKs, tracking SDKs, advertising identifiers, profiling analytics, or data broker services. App distribution, purchases, restores, StoreKit, and system file access are handled by Apple according to Apple's terms and privacy policies.
Data Sharing
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data. Because Doc Dojo does not collect your documents on a Dojoism server, we cannot share those documents with advertisers, data brokers, or other third parties.
Data Retention and Deletion
Your Doc Dojo documents remain on your Mac until you edit, delete, export, or remove them. Exported copies are controlled by the destination you choose.
Children's Privacy
Doc Dojo is not directed to children and does not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date above and, when appropriate, provide notice in the app or on our website.
