Overview

DoseDojo is designed as a local-first medication reminder and practice record app. It does not provide a medication database, drug interaction checks, diagnosis, dosage recommendations, pharmacy services, or medical advice.

Information You Enter

You may enter practice names, dosage text, notes, icons, colors, schedules, start and end dates, completion records, skipped or snoozed status, supply counts, refill thresholds, appearance settings, language settings, and time display preferences. This information is used to provide reminders, records, exports, widgets, optional Watch support, and optional iCloud/CloudKit features.

Local Storage

DoseDojo stores practices and dose logs locally using SwiftData. App settings may be stored in UserDefaults. Widget snapshots may be written to the App Group group.com.dosedojo.shared so widgets can display today’s remaining count and next practice name.

Notifications

DoseDojo uses local notifications through Apple’s notification system. Reminders are scheduled on your device. Notification actions such as Mark as taken, Snooze, and Skip today can write or update local DoseLog records. Dojoism does not use a push notification server for DoseDojo reminders.

iCloud, CloudKit, and Family Sharing

Optional iCloud/CloudKit features use Apple infrastructure and the user’s iCloud account. When enabled, selected practice data may be saved to the user’s private CloudKit database or shared through Apple CloudKit sharing flows. Dojoism does not operate a medication-data server and does not receive your iCloud data.

Export

DoseDojo can export data as CSV and JSON inside a ZIP file. Export happens only when you choose it. After export, the destination you select, such as Files, Mail, Messages, or another app, controls that copy.

Purchases

DoseDojo may offer a one-time unlock using StoreKit with the product ID com.dosedojo.unlock.forever. Purchases and restores are handled by Apple. Dojoism does not receive full payment card information.

Analytics and Tracking

DoseDojo is designed with no advertising SDKs and no third-party data broker model. It does not use medication reminder data for advertising or profiling.

Data Sharing

We do not sell or rent your personal data. Data is shared only when you choose an Apple iCloud/CloudKit sharing feature, export a file, or send information through another app.

Data Retention and Deletion

Your records remain on your device until you edit, archive, delete, export, sync through iCloud, or remove the app. Archived and soft-deleted items may remain locally until you permanently delete them. iCloud records are managed through Apple’s iCloud systems and your Apple account.

Children’s Privacy

DoseDojo is not directed to children and does not knowingly collect personal information from children.
