Music Dojo is a free offline player for the music you already own. Bring in files from the Files app, AirDrop, a ZIP, or send whole folders from your computer over Wi-Fi, keep them in your own folders, and play them gaplessly. Everything happens on your iPhone — no account, no ads, no in-app purchases, and nothing is uploaded.
When to choose Music Dojo
Choose Music Dojo when you have your own audio files — bought downloads, ripped CDs, FLAC archives, audiobooks, field recordings, language lessons, DJ sets — and you want to play them from your own folder structure instead of handing them to a music library that reorganises everything. It plays formats the built-in Music app will not, like FLAC, Opus and Ogg Vorbis, and it is completely free.
A folder player, free from end to end

Best for
- People with a real file collection — purchased downloads, ripped CDs, lossless archives — who want it organised their way.
- Audiobook, podcast, lecture and language-learning listeners who need speed control, A–B repeat and reliable position memory.
- Musicians, DJs and field recordists moving whole project folders onto a phone to listen back in order.
- Anyone who does not want a streaming account, a sign-in, or their audio passing through someone else's server.
Not built for
- Streaming catalogues, music discovery, downloading music from the internet, DRM-protected purchases, or playing your Apple Music library. Music Dojo only plays files you put into it.
Best fit: Music Dojo is for people who already own their music and would rather keep it that way — files in folders, on one device, with nothing in between.
Common questions
Does Music Dojo require an account?
No. There is no Dojoism account, no sign-in, and no developer-owned server. The app works fully in airplane mode.
Can I play my Apple Music or Spotify library?
No. Music Dojo plays audio files you import yourself. Streaming subscriptions and DRM-protected purchases cannot be played by any third-party app.
Can I get music from my cloud drive into Music Dojo?
Yes, if the cloud drive shows up in Apple's Files app (iCloud Drive does, and most major providers do once their app is installed). Choose Add → Choose Files or Choose a Folder, pick it from the cloud drive, and iOS downloads it into Music Dojo.
Is it really free?
Yes. There is no subscription, no in-app purchase, no ads and no usage limit. Every feature is included.
Why does it ask for local network access?
Only for Wi-Fi Transfer, which lets you open a page in your computer's browser and send files to your phone over your own network. The server runs only while that screen is open, and it is protected by a six-digit code shown on the phone.
